Threading involves rolling twisted cotton threads over hairlines to remove unwanted hair. This is a difficult technique that takes practitioners many months to perfect so do not attempt to try this at home!

If you have just had threading done please do follow these instructions.

> Keep treated area clean, avoid heat and friction for the next 24 hours.

> No hot water showers on treated area, use lukewarm or cool water only.

> No saunas, steam treatments, sunbathing, sunbeds or fake tans.

> No scratching the treated area.

> No touching the treated area with dirty hand.

> No deodorants, sprays, lotions or powders, unless your therapist has advised you otherwise.

3	Tinting of all eyebrow hairs, perfect colour tone matching with your skin tone. We mix the tint according to your present colouring and desired result.
4	Threading of the 'fluffy' hairs surrounding the brows to blend in shape to the hairline.
5	Trimming of any long hairs to give a perfect hair flow of their newly defined shape.
6	We use very mild and moisturising cream on your fore head and around eyebrows with massage to give you calm and it stops your skin being itchy and reddish.

Elegant brows, home care advice

> It is best to let your brows grow in for around 4 weeks prior to your first Elegant brows treatment so that we have plenty to work with for the best possible results.
> Prior to your treatment you will need to have a patch test just to make sure you aren't allergic to the tint that we use for this treatment. This must be done at least 24 hours before your treatment. The patch test will be done in our salon.
> Please don't exfoliate the skin or use products containing AHA's or fruit acids around your eyebrows for at least a week before and after treatment so as not to thin the skin and make it more sensitive to the waxing.
> Please don't apply make-up or scratch your eyerows at least for next 12 hours after your treatment.
> If you have taken Roacutaine or any other skin thinning medication in the past, you must wait at least 6 months before having waxing on the eyebrows.
> To maintain your gorgeous new eyebrows you'll need to repeat the Elegant brows treatment after 4-6 weeks once your hairs have regrown and your colour has faded.
